Transaction history reports include all events that affect your account’s prefund balance transaction history. This report is most useful for finance team members.
The transaction history report includes:
- Prefund balance deposits and withdrawals
- Order payments and refunds
- Transfers between teams
The transaction history report does not contain reward-level information such as the recipient name, email or phone, reward delivery status, and custom fields. Reward-level information can be found in the reward report. To ensure that you’re downloading the best report for your needs, review the transaction history report column reference below and compare it to the available reward report columns.
Customizing and downloading reports
You can customize the columns that appear in your dashboard transaction history and in the transaction history report:
- Navigate to Billing > Transaction history and select the Columns button.
- Review your column settings. You can select, deselect, and reorder the columns to suit your reporting requirements.
- Any changes you make are saved automatically. To remove your changes and start over, select Reset to defaults.

Once you’re satisfied with the structure of your order report, you can download it.
- Navigate to Billing > Transaction history.
- Apply filters if needed. You can filter the transaction history report by date and transaction type.
- Select Export to start the report download. Small reports will download immediately. If your report is large and takes a while to generate, we’ll email you when the report is ready.
Report currencies
The currency of your transaction history report matches your account’s prefund balance currency. If your prefund balance is held in USD, all payments are shown in USD in your report. If your prefund balance is held in EUR or GBP, payments are shown in EUR or GBP.
Reporting time zones
Transaction history report timestamps are in UTC, while order and reward report timestamps represent your local time zone via UTC offset. To reconcile the transaction history report with the order report or the reward report, you may need to convert the timestamp column.
In some situations, your downloaded report might not match what you see in the dashboard. This is because reports are exported using UTC date cutoffs, while dashboard filters use your local time zone as the date cutoff.
For example, if you're located in the Eastern time zone (-0500) and apply dashboard filters to view all of yesterday’s rewards, the dashboard will show you all rewards ordered between midnight EST and 11:59PM EST. If you then export a report with those filters applied, you'll receive a report of all rewards ordered between midnight UTC and 11:59PM UTC. Since the Eastern time zone is five hours behind UTC, this report will appear to include rewards ordered in the last five hours of the previous day and exclude any rewards ordered in the last five hours of the day in question.
If a report doesn't contain the line items you're expecting, you may need to expand your date filters when exporting your reports. If you're behind UTC (Americas), you may need to include an additional day on the end of your date range. If you're ahead of UTC (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific), you may need to include an additional day at the beginning of your date range.
FAQ
Why doesn’t my report total match what I’m seeing in the dashboard?
In some situations, the total rows in your report or the sum of the Amount column may not match the totals displayed at the top of the dashboard table:
This may happen for a few reasons:
- Your dashboard time zone may not match your reporting time zone, causing some transactions to be cut off. See Reporting time zones for more information.
- If you’re comparing the order or reward report to the transaction history table totals in Billing > Transaction history, the dashboard table total may include non-order transactions such as prefund balance deposits, withdrawals, and inter-team transfers.
My team uses commercial invoicing. Why don’t my invoice payments show up in the transaction history report?
The transaction history report includes events that affect your team’s prefund balance. Commercial invoice payments are applied directly to the open invoice and never touch your prefund balance, so they aren’t included in this report.
- If you’re looking for a report of order payments and fees, you can instead download the order report from the Orders & rewards > Order history tab.
- If you’re looking for invoice payment records, these can be viewed in the Billing > Invoices tab.
