Transaction history reports include all events that affect the transaction history, including prefund balance deposits, refunds, order payments, and transfers between teams. This report is most useful for finance team members. Transaction history reports are not customizable.
If your company generates and pays invoices in EUR or GBP, corresponding prefund balance deposits will be shown in USD in your transaction history. Deposits are converted to USD upon arrival using the exchange rate at the time that we receive your funds. You can view the original EUR or GBP value and the exchange rate used in the Billing > Transaction history tab by downloading the deposit receipt.
The Transaction history report can be downloaded from the Billing > Transaction history tab of the dashboard. You can also download individual payment receipts from this tab for your records.
Transaction history report timestamps are in UTC, while order and reward report timestamps represent your local time zone via UTC offset. To reconcile the transaction history report with the order report or the reward report, you may need to convert the timestamp column.
Troubleshooting reports
In some situations, your downloaded report might not match what you see in the dashboard. This is because reports are exported using UTC date cutoffs, while dashboard filters use your local time zone as the date cutoff.
For example, if you're located in the Eastern time zone (-0500) and apply dashboard filters to view all of yesterday’s rewards, the dashboard will show you all rewards ordered between midnight EST and 11:59PM EST. If you then export a report with those filters applied, you'll receive a report of all rewards ordered between midnight UTC and 11:59PM UTC. Since the Eastern time zone is five hours behind UTC, this report will appear to include rewards ordered in the last five hours of the previous day and exclude any rewards ordered in the last five hours of the day in question.
If a report doesn't contain the line items you're expecting, you may need to expand your date filters when exporting your reports. If you're behind UTC (Americas), you may need to include an additional day on the end of your date range. If you're ahead of UTC (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific), you may need to include an additional day at the beginning of your date range.
