Available products in India
As of 2021, the Tremendous Virtual Visa product cannot be used in India. India-based recipients can receive gift cards, PayPal transfers, or charity donations.
Gift cards
Tremendous offers a variety of Indian gift cards, including popular options such as Amazon India, Flipkart, Google Play, and more. For a complete list of available gift cards in India, check out our catalog.
PayPal transfers
PayPal International is available in India. Recipients must have a KYC-verified PayPal account in order to receive a PayPal payout from Tremendous. Learn about PayPal India KYC verification here.
PayPal International payouts incur fees, which you can add to your order total or pass through to your recipients. Learn more about monetary payout fees.
Charity donations
Tremendous offers charity donation payouts to recipients located in India. For a complete list of available charities, see our catalog.
Denominations
Rewards sent to India-based recipients can be as small as ₹50 INR and as large as ₹30 000 INR. However, it's important to note that not all gift cards are available for all denominations.
The minimum and maximum value of each gift card is determined by the issuing merchant. Most gift cards are available for amounts between ₹100-₹10 000 INR, so recipients will have the greatest variety of choices if you send them reward amounts between ₹100-₹10 000 INR.
For example, if you want to send a recipient more than ₹10 000 INR and you know they want to redeem a Flipkart gift card, which has a maximum value than ₹10 000 INR, you may need to divide the amount into two or more rewards. If that recipient receives a single reward of ₹15 000 INR, they won't be able to redeem a Flipkart gift card.
Adding local products to campaigns
When creating or editing a campaign, you can filter the product table by location to find and add local products for India. To the right of the product table, select the “locations covered” link to view a list of regions where at least one local product is included in your campaign.
A single campaign can be used for multiple countries and regions. During redemption, we detect the recipient’s country using their IP location and show them local redemption options only.

Currency and language localization
During the order flow, you can localize your rewards by specifying a currency and language.

If you know that your recipients are located in India, you can specify INR as the reward currency. This displays the reward amount to the recipient in INR both before and after redemption.
If you don’t specify a currency, Tremendous will automatically convert the reward amount to the recipient’s local currency at the time of redemption.
Whether you specify a currency or not, your order total will always be calculated and paid in your team currency. Learn more about team currencies.
