Understand recipient restrictions

Banking regulations and regional restrictions prohibit Tremendous from sending rewards to certain individuals. Recipients may not be able to receive Tremendous rewards if they use certain email domains or are located in a prohibited regions. Additionally, SMS rewards cannot be delivered to certain regions.

Temporary email domains

"Know Your Customer" (KYC) obligations require Tremendous to collect information on recipients, like email addresses. These requirements come from our banking partner and are designed to prevent financial system abuse.

There are services that allow individuals to create a disposable email address without a registration process. Because of the anonymity these services allow, sending a reward to a temporary email is prohibited.

Prohibited countries

Banking regulations prevent us from sending rewards to recipients in the following countries:

• Afghanistan
• Belarus
• Cuba
• Iran
• Iraq
• Myanmar
• North Korea
• Russia
• Syria
• Ukraine
• Venezuela
• Yemen

Recipients located in these countries cannot redeem Tremendous rewards. Rewards cannot be ordered to top-level email domains owned by prohibited countries. View prohibited top-level email domains.

SMS carrier restrictions

Tremendous is able to deliver SMS rewards to most recipients worldwide, but certain countries are restricted in the content that can be delivered. In addition to the prohibited countries listed above, local regulations prevent us from delivering SMS messages to the following countries:
