Tremendous supports automatic translation into dozens of languages using an AI-powered translation engine.
To activate language translation:
- Click Send rewards on the left-hand side of the dashboard, then choose Add recipients.
- Click the gear icon at the top right of the page and activate Custom translations.
The Language field will now appear in the recipient information table. Use the dropdown list to select a language or enter the two-digit language code. You can also add two-digit language codes to the Language CSV column when uploading recipient information in bulk.
The Language field translates the following elements:
- Reward emails or SMS texts
- Reward landing pages
- Redemption instructions
- Prepaid Visa card pages
If the Language field is left blank, or if you choose not to enable the Language field, the above elements will default to English.
Admins, managers, senders, and custom roles with ordering permissions can activate and deactivate language translation. Account admins can adjust user permissions in the Team settings > Users & roles tab of the dashboard.
Special characters
Tremendous supports special characters during the reward ordering process, including accents and diacritics, periods and apostrophes, non-Latin letters, and more. However, special characters may not render correctly if you upload a CSV that is not UTF-8 encoded. If you're sending rewards to recipients with special characters or non-Latin letters in their names, make sure that your CSV is in UTF-8 format for best results.
