Link rewards are URLs that can be independently distributed to recipients (e.g., providing a URL instead of a physical gift card). Purchasing link rewards generates a CSV file containing these distributable URLs.
A key benefit of this is that recipient details are not required at the time of ordering.

Ordering link rewards
Before ordering link rewards, please be aware of the following information:
- Link rewards must be redeemed by the end recipient. You can't pre-redeem the links and then send the gift card codes to your recipients. Banking regulations require us to know who our end recipients are, so pre-redeeming rewards is a violation of our Terms of Service.
- Links should be treated as secrets. They allow anyone who has access to them to access the reward. We strongly advise you not to store links at all. Instead, generate a new link each time you need to render rewards.
- If you choose to store links anyway, (which, again, you shouldn’t), you must encrypt them as you would any other secrets.
To place an order for link rewards:
- Click Send rewards > Purchase links to distribute.
- Enter the shipping address and click Continue.

Click Add link details to specify the dollar amount per link and quantity. If you want to order multiple sets of links, such as one set of $10 links and another set of $25 links, click Add another set.
During the ordering process, an email address must be selected to receive the CSV of link rewards. The designated receiver will get an email containing a download link that expires in 1 business day. If the file is not downloaded before the link expires, they must reach out to the orderer or a team admin to request a new download link.
- Choose your payment method and optionally enter an external order ID for internal billing or tracking purposes. The order ID must be unique. If it has been used before, the order will fail.
- Click Place order to confirm your order. After submission, the order cannot be modified.
Managing a link reward order
After placing an order, two actions are available when viewing a link reward order from the order history page:
- Update the receiver's email address.
- Resend the download link to the same receiver.
For security purposes, these actions can be performed up to a combined total of three times per order. For additional assistance, please contact support at clients@tremendous.com.
Once the receiver downloads the link reward CSV, it cannot be sent to another email in the dashboard. To request a new copy of a link CSV, please contact support at clients@tremendous.com.
