Multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication is available for all verified Tremendous users as an additional layer of account security. Tremendous offers multi-factor authentication via SMS and authenticator app.

Set up multi-factor authentication

Before setting up multi-factor authentication, please be aware of the following information:

  • Multi-factor authentication is only available for verified accounts. If your account is unverified and you'd like to set up multi-factor authentication, please email us at clients@tremendous.com.
  • Due to local regulations and carrier restrictions, Tremendous cannot deliver SMS messages in certain countries and regions. If you're located in a restricted country or region, you must use an authenticator app instead.

To set up multi-factor authentication:

  1. Click the Profile icon at the top right of your dashboard, then select User settings.
  2. Next to Multi-factor authentication (MFA), click Set up.
  3. Choose your preferred authentication method, link your phone number or authenticator app, and save your changes.

Enforcing multi-factor authentication

To require multi-factor authentication for all users in your organization, navigate to Team settings > Security, then enable the Require multi-factor authentication (MFA) setting. Next time your team members log in, they'll be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication.
