Can Tremendous replace lost or stolen cards?

If your card has been lost or stolen, you can report it on your card page to receive a replacement for the remaining balance.

  1. At the top right corner of your card page, select Manage card > Report a lost or stolen card.
  2. Fill out the report with your information and choose Submit.

Physical cards are replaced by mail in 7-10 days, while virtual cards are replaced via email. Per our cardholder agreement, Tremendous is not responsible for replacing lost or stolen funds: 

You agree to use your best efforts to safeguard the Card and you agree to protect the Card as you would cash. If the Card has been lost or stolen, or if there are unauthorized transactions on your Card Account, we will not replace the card or the remaining balance and you will lose all the money on the Card.

If you believe a purchase was made fraudulently on your card, please dispute the transaction with the retailer the purchase was made with. You can also report unresponsive or fraudulent merchants to their hosting platform. Tremendous is unable to dispute transactions on behalf of recipients. 

If your virtual prepaid card was fraudulently used, your email account may have been compromised as virtual prepaid cards are only accessible via email. It's recommended that you reset your email passwords as soon as possible.

Please note that a small subset of prepaid cards issued via Tremendous cannot be reported as lost or stolen on the card page. If you don't see the option to report your card as lost or stolen on your card page, please reach out to us at help@tremendous.com.
