We regularly add new gift cards to our catalog to give recipients more options. When enabled, Auto-add gift cards keeps a campaign’s gift card selection up to date by automatically adding new eligible cards. You can turn on Auto-add gift cards when creating a campaign or editing an existing one.
How Auto-add gift cards work
- Your product selection must include at least one gift card to enable this feature. You can update your product selection at any time after turning on Auto-add gift cards.
- We only add new gift cards to your existing selection. We won’t remove products you’ve already selected.
- We’ll never add a gift card that changes your pricing.
- Prepaid cards, monetary options, and charities are not included in Auto-add gift cards.
- Changes to your product selection or Auto-add gift cards settings only apply to new rewards. They won’t affect rewards already sent from the campaign.
Turning on auto-add gift cards
- To update an existing campaign, click Edit products. For a new campaign, go to the Select products step.
- Make sure your product selection includes at least one gift card.
- On the right, find Auto-add gift cards and click Set up.
- In the modal, choose one of these options:
- All new gift cards: add every new gift card we release
- Customize by location and/or currency: add new gift cards for specific locations, currencies, or both
- Click Update. Your selection will appear in the right under Auto-add gift cards.
- You can update this setting at any time.
Turning off auto-add gift cards
- Click Edit products under the campaign you want to update.
- On the right, find Auto-add gift cards and click Edit.
- In the modal, click Turn off.
Best practice
We recommend selecting All new gift cards so recipients see the widest possible range of options.
