Hotel and rental car transactions include a temporary 20% hold in addition to the original charge. This hold ensures sufficient funds are available for potential additional charges (e.g., incidentals, extended stays).
The hold is released when the merchant finalizes the transaction, and you will only be charged the actual amount. This process can take up to 30 days depending on the merchant. Tremendous has no ability to expedite this process, refund, dispute, or reverse transactions.
