Tremendous for HubSpot lets you send rewards from HubSpot, either by hand from a contact record or automatically from a HubSpot workflow. Once the integration is installed, you can:
- Send a reward manually from any contact
- Send a reward automatically when a workflow trigger fires (for example, when a deal closes or a contact reaches a lifecycle stage)
- View reward history on any contact
Install the app
- Log in to Tremendous as an admin.
Navigate to Team settings > Integrations & apps, locate the HubSpot card, and click Connect.
Select your HubSpot account and click Choose Account.
- Review the requested scopes on the screen. Tremendous requests access to create, delete, or make changes to contacts. Then, click Connect app.
- You will be redirected to a Tremendous authorization page from which you will select the team that will send Tremendous rewards. Select a team and click Authorize.
- You will be redirected to your HubSpot account to configure the Tremendous for HubSpot app.
Configure the app

Go to Settings > Data Management > Objects > Contacts.
Click Record Customization and select the view you want to edit.
Click Add card in your desired location.
Click Card library, search Tremendous Rewards, and click Add card.
- Click Save and exit.
Send rewards manually from a contact
To send a one-off reward from a contact record:
- Log in to HubSpot and go to CRM > Contacts.
- Open the contact you want to reward.
- In the Tremendous Rewards card, click Send reward.
Select the Campaign and enter the Reward amount. If your team uses custom fields, fill those in too.
Send rewards automatically with a workflow
HubSpot workflows can send a Tremendous reward when a trigger fires on any HubSpot object: a deal, contact, company, or ticket. The workflow runs without anyone having to open the record.
Before you start
- Install the Tremendous for HubSpot integration and pick a funding source. See Install the app and Configure the app above.
- Confirm the Tremendous "Send reward" action is available in the HubSpot workflow editor. If you don't see it, reinstall the integration.
- Have at least one Tremendous campaign ready to use.
1. Create the workflow and choose a trigger
- In HubSpot, go to Automation > Workflows and create a new workflow.
- Choose the object the workflow runs on (deal, contact, company, or ticket) and pick a trigger that fits your use case. A few examples:
- Deal stage changes to Closed Won
- Contact lifecycle stage changes to Customer
- Company property meets a condition
- Ticket is created or closed
- Decide whether records can re-enroll. Re-enrollment lets the same record trigger the workflow again if it later meets the criteria a second time. Turn it on if you want repeat rewards (for example, a contact who hits a milestone more than once); leave it off if a single send is enough.
2. Add the Tremendous "Send reward" action
- After the trigger, add a new action.
- Search for and select the Tremendous Send reward action.
3. Map the recipient and reward details
Map the recipient fields from your HubSpot properties.
Custom fields are not currently supported via workflow automation. If your Tremendous team has required custom fields, the automation will not work.
4. Save, activate, and verify
- Save the workflow.
- Confirm the logic reads as expected (for example, "Deal reaches Closed Won → Tremendous reward is sent").
- Turn the workflow on.
- Run a test record through the trigger and confirm the reward sends in your Tremendous dashboard.
Before you turn it on
- Confirm the integration is installed and configured.
- Check that the recipient logic picks the right person. Deals with multiple associated contacts can produce unexpected results, and for non-deal triggers the recipient is usually the triggering record itself.
- Confirm the campaign, currency, and language match the experience you want to send.
- Review the re-enrollment setting based on whether you want repeat rewards.
Disconnect the app
Note: If you disconnect your HubSpot account from Tremendous, you will no longer be able to send rewards directly from HubSpot. You will need to remove the Tremendous Rewards card from your contacts template to prevent confusion. Existing reward history data will remain accessible in the Tremendous dashboard.
- Log in to your Tremendous dashboard.
- Navigate to Team settings > Integrations & apps and locate the HubSpot card.
- Click Configure, then click Disconnect.
Uninstall the app
To uninstall Tremendous for HubSpot from your HubSpot account:
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon in the top navigation bar. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Integrations > Connected Apps.
- Click Actions on the Tremendous, then click Uninstall.
- In the dialog box, type “uninstall” in the text field and click Uninstall.
