You can use your prepaid Virtual Visa card anywhere that prepaid cards are accepted in 212 countries and regions around the world, excluding certain prohibited merchants:
- Money transfers
- Firearm-related businesses
- Outbound telemarketing
- Tobacco businesses
- Marijuana-related businesses
- Money services from non-financial institutions (including cryptocurrency)
- Securities brokers/dealers
- Dating services
- Massage parlors
- Government-owned lotteries
- Government-licensed online casinos, online gambling
- Government-licensed horse/dog racing
- Betting, including lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting, and wagers at race tracks. Please note that mobile games may be considered betting, depending on the type of game you're playing.
- Pay at the pump gas purchases are restricted due to the preauthorization hold required. If you'd like to purchase gas, you can attempt to prepay directly with a cashier.
- Charities: charity donations are considered cash-equivalent and will be declined. Please note that Tremendous offers a number of charity options if you'd like to donate your reward to charity.
- Recurring subscription or installment payments, including bill payment. This is considered a cash transaction and will be declined.
Some merchants do not accept prepaid cards. If your preferred merchant doesn’t accept your prepaid card, contact us at help@tremendous.com and we can help exchange your prepaid card for a gift card.

Prepaid Virtual Visas can be used online. To spend the card online, select “credit” as the payment method and enter the 16-digit card number, expiration date, and CVV like a normal credit card. Prepaid Virtual Visas can be used with any billing address.
Virtual cards typically are not accepted at brick-and-mortar stores unless they are first added to a digital wallet. To add the card to a digital wallet, see: Can I add my card to Apple Pay or Google Wallet?
When paying in-store, select “credit” instead of “debit”. Debit transactions may be declined. Then, tap your mobile device at the point of sale to pay with your digital wallet.

In the UK, Amazon.co.uk frequently does not accept transactions from prepaid cards including the Tremendous Virtual Visa card.
