E-filing discount
Tremendous partners with Tax1099 to help you create ready-to-file 1099s.
Tremendous clients receive a 10% discount on e-filing with Tax1099. If you have an existing Tax1099 account, please contact us at clients@tremendous.com or let your CSM know to apply the discount. If you need to create a Tax1099 account, sign up using our exclusive link to have the discount automatically applied to your account.
Creating 1099s
You can create ready-to-file 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC forms using your Tremendous data in just a few steps.
Steps
- From the Tremendous sidebar, go to Taxes → Recipients
- Filter the table to just the records you want to export.

- Click Export
- Select 1099-ready CSV
- Select the form type
- Click Continue

Edit your tax entity data for completeness
- Important: This data populates the "Payer" fields in Tax1099 and identifies your business on the 1099 form.
- Click Export; your data is exported into a CSV that Tax1099 can read
- Log into your Tax1099 account.
- If you don't have a Tax1099 account, you can create one using our exclusive link to receive 10% off e-filing.
- From the Tax1099 sidebar, go to Forms
- Click on the appropriate Tax Year
- Click on the Form Type (1099-NEC or 1099-MISC)
- Click Import Bulk Data
- Upload the CSV that was generated in step 8
- Click Next
- Ensure all the fields match and click Next
- Resolve any issues with your Payer or Recipients
- Click Next
All of your data is now in Tax1099.

Transferring e-delivery consent to Tax1099

Exporting e-delivery consent
Tremendous offers a feature that allows you to collect your recipients’ consent to deliver their 1099s electronically. If you are filing with Tax1099, you will need to import the consent into your Tax1099 account securely.
Steps
- From the Tremendous sidebar, go to Taxes → Recipients
- Filter the table to just the records you want to export.

- Click Standard reporting CSV
- Select Include TINs in export
- Click Export; your data is now exported into a CSV
- Log into your Tax1099 account
- From the Tax1099 top navigation, click Shortcuts
- Click File Share
- Securely upload the CSV generated in step 5
- Make a note of the reference number
- Share the reference number with your Tax1099 Account Manager to being processing your file
Notes
- Tax1099 typically reflects your consent tracking in their portal within one week. This may vary depending on the time of year. If this process needs to occur regularly, please contact your Tax1099 Account Manager to define a detailed SLA.
