Reward fields

Add metadata to your rewards for searching and reporting

Fields are applicable to digital rewards only.

When you place an order, there is a list of attributes, i.e. fields, that you must specify for each reward. For example, some required fields are:

  • Amount

  • Recipient name

  • Email address or phone number

There are other fields that are listed by default, and you also have the option to create your own.

Why add custom fields?

You may find fields useful for reporting purposes or to modify your order. For example:

How to create a custom field

Because these steps involve accessing your team's settings, only an Admin is able to complete the following.

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Team settings > Fields

  2. On this page, you can:

    1. Require a field — Click the checkbox in the row to turn the requirement on or off. If it's on, users will not be able to place an order if the field is empty.

    2. Activate a field — Click the checkbox in the row to turn the field on or off. If it's off, it will not be listed when users place an order.

    3. Create a new field — In the upper right-hand corner, click Add custom field. Name the field and specify the field type (e.g. checkbox, number, text).
